Interface Management Performance Assessment Framework for Sustainable Prefabricated Construction

Prefabricated construction (PC) has been regarded as a sustainable method for its inherent advantages such energy savings, emissions reductions, and cleaner safer working environments. However, PC development hindered by weaknesses of fragmentation discontinuity. Effective interface management (IM) is integral to project success appropriate numerous interfaces with high complexity uncertainty among the organization, information, logistics. Although some researchers mentioned effectiveness IM projects, systematic assessment methods performance are missing. This study aims systematically develop framework assess projects address this gap. Through comprehensive literature review, nineteen indicators were identified grouped into four categories. By combining objective weighting an ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operator set pair analysis (SPA) assessment, nineteen-indicator model was developed. Finally, case constructed using proposed framework, feasibility applicability OWA-SPA proved. The results provided could guide managers better serve valuable reference in industry.
